Is it ever the right time to get married? Is it the right weather? Is the humidity percentage right? Are the moon and the stars in perfect place? Well, usually the answer is no. But in this case, I can say YES! I was able to witness this love blooming within Kristin and Ryan first hand on August 26, 2017. Their ceremony at St Francis Xavier Church, and their reception at the Chelsea Piers Lighthouse were PERFECTION!
The Four Seasons Hotel in Downtown New York welcomed our bride along with the Bridesmaids. The girls took their time in getting ready for the magical night. The giggly girls drank their mimosas and giddied up for the night ahead of them while the beautiful bride retouched her make-up. The make-up artist left soft strokes aiming for a more natural sun-kissed look leaving the bride looking like a goddess.
The bride opted for a woven up-do complimenting the heart neckline strapless gown. The dress, oh my gosh, the wedding dress. Her beautiful bridesmaid pranced over in their blushing flowing dresses in different styles to help the Bride zip up her dress (because what are friends for, am I right?)
The strapless dress was showered in a flowery lace pattern that was cinched at the waist with a detailed woven sequined belt. The mermaid silhouette hugged the bride as the bridesmaids zipped her up. Now, all she needed were the silver final touches…
Both parties arrived at the church at the St Francis Xavier Church. The guests nestled into their seats with pure excitement. The family of the bride and groom come out and the bridesmaids walk down the aisle. They showcase their beautiful silhouettes and bouquets towards the altar leaving everyone in awe.
Then, the father of the bride walks his daughter down the aisle and tearfully, he sends her off to the man she loves.
As Kristin and Ryan join hands and make the eternal exchange, the church rejoices harmoniously.
A walk in the park is just what the newlyweds needed before dancing the night away. The two parties went to South Cove - Battery Park City where the couple’s photos were taken first followed by bridal party shots. The energy around them was so invigorating and joyful, that if you were there, it could have assed five years to your life.
As everything came to an end, I came to realize that no wedding was the same as the last and that I will remember each wedding individually. Kristin and Ryan’s wedding at Chelsea Piers Lighthouse was a night to remember and it was an honor to be able to share the short time I spent with them with you all.
Lots of love,
