Last Thursday I had the pleasure to meet Michelle and Trevor in person for the first time. They flew from Tampa, Florida to visit their families + have their engagement session at the Branch Brook Park in NJ. If you live in NJ, you know this winter has been brutal. Even the cherry blossoms missed the Cherry Blossom Festival this year because they refused to bloom in the cold weather. Luckily for us, they were beautifully bloomed last week. In addition, this sweet couple definitely brought the warm weather from Tampa with them! Oh, I can't wait for their wedding next month at the Sterlingbrook Farm.
Trevor and Michelle started dating a little over 2 years and got engaged in August, 2017. Guess where?!
( I’m waiting for you to guess... Did you guess yet?)
Alright, Trevor proposed at Saint Mark's Square in Venice. YES! A proposal in Italy. Can that be more memorable? Let’s say that their engagement session at the Branch Brook Park was also epic. We started our session in a sunny day hitting the 90 degrees weather. All of a sudden, the sky got really dark and the wind started blowing so hard. Thankfully I had my clear umbrella in the car and they were all in to get more photos taken. YAY! That is the spirit of my couples, no matter what the situation is, rain or shine, they always choose to see the positive side of it and to have fun! We went from sunny day to a crazy storm but we embraced it, got soaked and laughed until our stomachs hurt.
Michelle is absolutely beautiful from the inside and out. I knew she was this sweet + loving bride from the first time we talked on the phone. When she looks at her soon-to-be-hubby with that smile in her eyes it’s just too adorable. And Trevor really impressed me. I love when the groom is involved and excited about photography. He is that groom! YAS! But the cutest thing Trevor did during the entire session, which I did NOT ask for, was to kiss his girl’s hand all the time in the most loving way. This little gesture just melts my heart and made me feel so grateful to be able to capture their love.
Michelle and Trevor, I cannot wait for your wedding at Sterlingbrook Farm. It will be a beautiful day because the love you have for each other will overflow the entire place. Thank you for trusting me to be part of your big day. I will see you guys soon!
Lots of love,
