Last Wednesday I met Katrina and Nick for their engagement session at the Skylands Manor, in Ringwood NJ. They have been together for almost 4 years. But they actually met each other back in High School where his mom was one of Katrina’s teachers. They stayed friends for years and reconnected a few years back.
Nick proposed last summer, the night before their big 4th of July party. Katrina’s best friend distracted her with dinner while Nick set up lights, candles and music outside on the deck to make the perfect scenario to pop the question.
Katrina is joyful and beautiful inside and out. In our first call we connected super quickly. I just new we were a great fit! And since then it’s been amazing to watch her having so much fun as a bride-to-be. I saw the beautiful bridal shower her mom and bridesmaids put together for her. They love her so much, I can’t wait to meet them too!
Katrina mentioned to me Nick might be a little camera shy. Very little we knew how awesome Nick would be in front of the camera. Nothing shy, but actually making his fiancé laugh and have fun all the time with his dance moves, and silly faces... and Katrina looked stunning with her flowing dress. They really made my job super easy! It was seriously the perfect day, lucky me! The sweetest couple + beautiful outfit + amazing location at Skylands Manor + fun + fun + fun! What more could I wish for?
Thank you guys for such an incredible day. I loved meeting you and capturing your love. Now you’re less than a month away to become husband and wife! Can you believe it? I’m super excited to be part of your super special day!
Lots of love,
