Ryan and Rebecca are engaged!! They picked the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, NC for their Engagement Session and it was the most beautiful location with the perfect weather. We sure had a lot of fun during their engagement session. These two are getting married at The Historic Wakefield Barn in March 2020, and I couldn’t be more grateful to be their wedding photographer…
Chris and Alyssa have been together for 4 years, they met in college 6 weeks before Chris graduated and started grad school. They couldn't imagine breaking up when he graduated college, so they were in a long distance relationship for 2 years before they both moved to Charlotte! They will be soon saying their “i do’s” at the Camellia Gardens in Monroe, North Carolina and I can’t even wait to be part of their big day!
From the California coast to the shores of New Jersey, to the streets of New York, 2018 is the year to be remembered! But those beautiful locations wouldn’t matter if it wasn’t for the people on it. Seriously, I feel so incredibly thankful for our couples. I can’t thank them enough for trusting and choosing us to capture their love.
Chris and Justin’s engagement session was so so so amazing! With 2 hours session we had the opportunity to photograph in some locations that were very important for them! We started their engagement session at the Amsterdam Ale House where they met for the first time, then we headed to the American Museum of National History where it was the location Justin asked Chris to marry him, and we finished their session walking around Central Park for some iconic photos!
When I asked Chris how they met, she told me:
“We had our first date in Manhattan at the Amsterdam Ale House in June 2015 after connecting on Match.com. We instantly discovered common interests in hiking, skiing, tennis, music and our love for the beach. We have shared dates and adventures between our home bases of New Jersey and Long Island, along with their midpoint spot of NYC.”
Their proposal was also very sweet:
“Justin proposed on a snowy day in December 31, 2017 in NYC, right outside of the American Museum of National History and only a few short blocks from where we had our first date. We were on our way from Long Island to New Jersey after the holidays and Justin suggested stopping in the city to visit the museum for the day. We had spent a few hours in the museum and were walking outside when all of a sudden Justin proposed! It was such a beautiful night since it had just snowed earlier in the day, however it was so cold that while trying to call family my phone froze! We celebrated the rest of the night going to dinner and then Rockefeller Center to take some photos!”
Chris and Justin I had THE BEST time exploring NYC with you two and listening to your love story unfolding in these amazing locations. I absolute love you guys and I am so grateful you picked me to be part of your wedding day.
Lots of love,
Max and Haley have been together for about 5 years, after meeting through a family friend. They live in Hoboken, NJ and spend a lot of time at the Maxwell Place Park. So when she asked me to have their engagement session there + bring WALTER, their little pup, with them…
